Shuttle Services

Super Star Shuttle Service provides free shuttle service to a number of Orlando’s attractions such as Universal Studios and SeaWorld from the area hotels. Contact the concierge for schedule information.

 

The hotel is also a departure location for the Disney shuttle, which provides transportation to a number of Disney attractions such as EPCOT, MGM Studios and Animal Kingdom. Call (407) 423-5566 for reservations and schedule information. The cost is $12 per person round trip.

 

Attendees staying at the nearby Fairfield Inn, Courtyard by Marriott and SpringHill Suites will be provided free shuttle service to and from the Orlando World Center Marriott. The Courtyard, SpringHill Suites and Fairfield are all located in the Marriott Village complex with facing front entrances. The central area between the Fairfield and Courtyard features a food court and shuttle pick-up and drop-off area next to Starbucks. Details will be available on-site.

Airfare

United Airlines, the official airline for ASHRM, has changed the advance purchase requirement for the 10 percent discount offered for ASHRM’s Annual Conference & Exhibition. Attendees may now purchase tickets up until the day before the meeting and receive a full 10 percent discount. This deal includes travel on United, United Express, United’s new low-cost carrier TED and all code share flights on US Airways and US Airways Express and Air Canada. Attire

ASHRM suggests business casual for education events. This may include slacks, blazers, blouses and casual dresses or a sweater or sportcoat. Use your best judgment to represent yourself and your organization. More formal business attire is appropriate for the Presidents’ Reception. Mid-October in Orlando is characterized by mild days and evenings. Be prepared for varying room temperatures.
