Chapter Handbook: Resource for leaders
The ASHRM Chapter Handbook is a resource guide for affiliated ASHRM chapters. It details best practices for chapter operations and finances, program planning, elections, member recruitment and retention, leadership transition and other chapter issues. The handbook includes sample documents from other chapters and ASHRM to download and modify for your chapter’s use, including program brochures, budgets, meeting agendas, position descriptions and more.
Promote Your Chapter Events
ASHRM's Chapter Calendar offers a listing of the latest programs and events for chapters across the country. Send your chapter news to ashrm@aha.org. Your event will also be promoted in e-News, ASHRM's e-mail newsletter, which goes to more than 5,500 risk-management professionals every week.
Continuing Education Credits for Chapters
Interested in offering Continuing Education Credits for your chapter's educational program? ASHRM can review the program agenda and faculty and award credits toward ASHRM designations of FASHRM, DFASHRM and CPHRM renewal. Download ASHRM's CE guidelines on what information is needed. Please allow two weeks for processing.
ASHRM Board Members at Your Meeting
Members of ASHRM's Board of Directors visit chapters throughout the year, sharing ASHRM's strategic vision with chapter leaders and members. If you are interested in having an ASHRM representative attend your meeting, please contact Nancy Neff at nneff@aha.org. Chapter leaders can also deliver an ASHRM update using the 2008 Chapters Presentation .
ASHRM logo for use by chapters
ASHRM’s affiliated chapters using the ASHRM logo on their web sites can now use a new color logo to replace the former logo. A black-and-white version is appropriate for most print materials. Some professional printers require EPS format files; if required, please contact ASHRM and we will provide those.

Are You Certified?
Has a member of your local chapter recently achieved CPHRM certification? The names of recent certificants are listed by state on the AHA web site. Complete details on CPHRM Certification are available from the AHA Certification Center CPHRM home page.
